The European Space Agency (ESA) has established a strategic partnership with the European Rocketry Challenge (EuRoC), a competition set to take place in Constância from October 15th to 21st.

The collaboration aims to enhance financial support and the connection between students and the space sector. The seventh edition of EuRoC selected 25 teams from 64 applications across 26 countries.
This partnership is part of the ESA's New University Initiative, approved in November 2025. It includes support for technical team evaluations, industry engagement, and international promotion of the event. ESA will also sponsor the Technical Award and bring the EuRoC Award-winning team to a European sector conference.
Organized by the Portuguese Space Agency, the competition challenges students to design, build, and launch rockets, fostering practical skills and training future professionals for the European space industry.
