The Social Development councilor, Ana Rita Moreira, representing the Lumiar Parish Council, formally signed the Community Champions League (CCL) Commitment Charter at the Estádio da Luz.

The ceremony was attended by Ana Rita Moreira, Social Development councilor for the Lumiar Parish Council, who represented the institution in the formal signing of the Community Champions League (CCL) Commitment Charter, held at the Estádio da Luz. The competition, held annually in Portugal since 2019, is aimed at young people and organized by the Benfica Foundation, Gebalis, and various Parish Councils, with Lumiar being a partner from the start.
This year, the "Alto do Lumiar" team won the Golden League, earning them a trip to the island of Madeira to celebrate their victory. The CCL's core objectives are to promote the social inclusion of young people, technical teams, and families, using street football as a proximity strategy to foster ideas and actions in neighborhoods.
Through football, young people learn essential values such as fair play, respect, commitment, dedication, teamwork, professionalism, tolerance, resilience, and ethics, both on and off the field. This initiative mobilizes families and partners to create safer and more respected neighborhoods.
The Lumiar Parish Council expressed its privilege in being able to participate in the initiative again and wished good luck for the upcoming season, under the motto "We Grow Together!".
