The INIAV, IPBeja, and ANPOC have now made available the List of Recommended Varieties (LVR) for soft wheat, for the 2026/2027 agricultural campaign.

The LVR is a joint initiative of the production, research, and industry chain, aiming to identify cereal varieties best adapted to the main cereal-producing areas in Portugal and serving the interests of all stakeholders. These recommendations lead to the production of homogeneous, larger batches of high quality, perfectly suited to the processing needs of the industry.
The List of Recommended Varieties for soft wheat can be accessed via a link provided by INIAV. The LVR for durum wheat is expected to be released in the coming days.
