Second-year Landscape Architecture students from the Instituto Superior de Agronomia (ULisboa) enhanced their practical construction skills during a visit to Aldeia de Santa Isabel in Abrunheira.

As part of the 'Applied Construction Techniques for Landscape Architecture Projects' course, students had the chance to closely observe various methodologies and materials. The visit allowed them to follow the explanations and insights shared by master craftsmen specializing in Carpentry and Metals.
This year, in partnership with the Associação Cultural de Albarraque, the challenge for the students involves the detailed technical specification, in module form, of a small amphitheater. This structure will later be built by trainees from the Aldeia's Vocational Training Center.
This initiative serves as a true "living lab," offering students a valuable opportunity to bridge academic knowledge with practical application in the field.
