Between September 21st and 23rd, the Municipal Auditorium of Ansião hosted the public auction of 18 plots in the Camporês Business Park (North Area IC8/ Ansião, 6th phase), representing a total investment of €2,424,589.50. The most representative sectors for the eight companies establishing or expanding their activities in the municipality of Ansião are transport, metallurgy, and construction.
The President of the Municipal Chamber of Ansião, Jorge Cancelinha, highlighted that the procedure “exceeded expectations,” with the average selling price per square meter settling at €31.50/m², a value “three times higher than initially defined”.
The public auction registered demand from 29 companies. Jorge Cancelinha noted that, in addition to the eight whose investment projects were approved, “there are still entrepreneurs willing to invest in Ansião,” expressing confidence in providing “more solutions for these entrepreneurs” in the near future. The mayor indicated that “new solutions are being worked on, mainly for the South area” of the park.
In the medium to long term, the Municipality of Ansião aims to proceed with the “eighth expansion phase, to the North” and to deepen a “concerted action with the neighboring municipality of Penela,” with the goal of creating an “inter-municipal park” and establishing the Camporês Business Park as a regional reference.
