As part of the welcome for students for the new academic year 2026/2027, the School Health team from UCC Saúde em Movimento, belonging to ULS do Alto Minho, visited the School Group of Vila Nova de Cerveira. The objective was the presentation of the Health Education Project (PES).
Nurses Isabel Bacelar and Susana Carneiro, members of the School Health team, participated in the session in collaboration with Professor Teresa Silva. This partnership underscores the importance of the link between health professionals and the school community in promoting student health and well-being.
The School Health team from UCC Saúde em Movimento comprises nurses Isabel Bacelar, Susana Carneiro, and Ana Lima, along with nutritionist Dra. Mariana Oliveira. They conduct outreach work with schools, focusing on promoting healthy lifestyles, disease prevention, and health education.
