The Municipality of Caminha has been carrying out various maintenance and enhancement interventions on public spaces, schools, and municipal facilities, with the aim of improving the safety and well-being of its residents.

Daily, conservation and improvement works are carried out throughout the municipality, ensuring better conditions for safety and comfort. Recently, repairs in schools and facilities, as well as cleaning in the area surrounding the Fernando Lima Municipal Pavilion, have been highlighted.
In Caminha, pedestrian circulation has been improved with the repair of the sidewalk near Largo da Feira. The safety of the school community has been reinforced with the repair of the wall near the Dem School Center, which posed a risk of collapse.
Cleaning and unblocking work on the Lampijão watercourse in Cristelo continues, in partnership with the Union of Parishes of Moledo and Cristelo, aimed at flood prevention and environmental preservation.
In Lanhelas, three lighting posts were installed in the Beirada do Rio area, in collaboration with the local Parish Council. In Vila Praia de Âncora, the roof of the Forte da Lagarteira was cleaned and maintained, preserving this important historical heritage.
Road safety has also been improved with the cleaning of the verges of the EM552 road, connecting Argas to Covas, optimizing traffic flow and visibility. These interventions, though often not highly visible, are fundamental for the proper functioning of services and the safety of the population.
