The Municipality of Nisa received a new tractor, provided under the Mechanization Program for Fuel Management, funded by the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR).

The handover ceremony for the equipment, attended by the Mayor, Dr. José Dinis Serra, and Councillor Dr. José Leandro Semedo, took place in Arronches on October 28 and was presided over by the Secretary of State for Forests, Eng. Rui Ladeira.
The tractor was allocated to 11 municipalities in Alto Alentejo and will allow the Municipality of Nisa to enhance its operational capacity in fuel management, territory cleaning and maintenance, as well as in rural fire prevention.
The equipment provision is linked to the municipalities' commitment to manage at least 80 hectares or 80 kilometers of fuel management strips, reinforcing the local authorities' responsibility in protecting and valuing the territory.
With this reinforcement of resources, the Municipality of Nisa continues its work in prevention, population protection, and responsible territory management.
