The Banco de Portugal and CFA Society Portugal have launched the third edition of the My Financial Future contest, with applications open until October 25, 2026, for university students.

Until October 25, 2026, university students can participate in the third edition of the My Financial Future contest. This initiative, promoted by the Banco de Portugal and the CFA Society Portugal, aims to enhance students' financial knowledge and foster appropriate attitudes for their active working lives.
The contest challenges student teams to solve a personal finance case study, presenting creative and innovative solutions for topics such as budget planning, saving, investments, and credit usage.
Teams of 2 to 4 students from any field of study, enrolled in university or polytechnic higher education in the 2026/2027 academic year, are eligible to apply. Registration must be completed by a faculty member from the institution attended by at least one team member.
The top three teams will be awarded monetary prizes: €1000 per participant for 1st place, €750 for 2nd place, and €500 for 3rd place. The five finalist teams will also have the opportunity to present their response to a new challenge before the jury at the National Final.
Applications are open until October 25, 2026. Each team must be registered by the responsible professor via the online form. Further information and regulations are available on the Client Banking Portal.
