The stakeholder meeting for the HARMONY project, held in Lisbon, allowed for an assessment of the progress made during the project's third implementation semester, as well as an analysis of ongoing activities and planned future actions.
Participants were informed about the project's key developments, including inter-regional cooperation activities, communication actions, and preparations for the Inter-regional meeting to be held in Vilnius. The central objective of the HARMONY project was also highlighted: to contribute to the improvement of public policies in the area of youth mental health through a comprehensive, collaborative, and community-based approach.
Discussions underscored the importance of prevention, early intervention, and access to quality support services for young people, as well as the role of inter-regional learning in strengthening policy responses in this domain. Participants also exchanged perspectives on Portuguese best practices to be submitted to the Interreg Europe Programme's Best Practice Platform. In this context, the contribution of the Cuida-te Programme and the relevance of involving organizations and professionals working directly with young people to ensure the sustainable implementation of the project's activities were emphasized.
Representatives of the present entities reaffirmed their commitment to the project's objectives and recognized the importance of continued cooperation among the various stakeholders. The meeting also served to gather input on ongoing activities and identify new collaboration opportunities for promoting youth mental health and well-being.
