The VII Meeting of the Interinstitutional Commission Amadora and Sintra Together for Breastfeeding (CIASJAM), promoted by ULS Amadora/Sintra, will take place on October 9th with the theme “Breastfeeding and sustainability: Small actions, big changes”.

The initiative aims to promote reflection on the importance of breastfeeding for adequate nutrition in early childhood, contributing to healthy development, the reduction of morbidities, inequalities, and environmental impacts.
CIASJAM seeks to reinforce the importance of an integrated approach to protecting, promoting, and supporting breastfeeding, involving health systems, civil society organizations, workplaces, communities, and families.
The meeting will take place between 8:45 AM and 1:00 PM, in a hybrid format, with in-person participation at the Fernando Fonseca Hospital Auditorium and online transmission via Teams. The full program is available for consultation.
Aimed at health professionals and anyone interested in the topic, registrations are open until October 2nd.
