The event, taking place in various emblematic cultural spaces of the city such as the Recreios da Amadora, the Cineteatro D. João V, and the Grand Auditorium of ESTC, will showcase fiction and documentary works produced during the 2025/2026 academic year as part of the ESTC's Degree in Cinema. The films reflect the diversity of perspectives and artistic approaches of the students.
Special sessions are programmed for the school communities of the Amadora municipality, in partnership with the National Cinema Plan, aiming to introduce younger generations to the art of filmmaking. Sessions for associations and the general public are also planned.
All screenings will be attended by Cinema students involved in the production of the respective films, offering the public a unique opportunity for sharing and engaging with the cinematic creative process.
Admission is free, subject to room capacity. Participation for groups/classes requires prior registration by the responsible facilitators/teachers.
The session programming was developed by final-year Cinema Degree students as part of the 'Cinema and Community' course (2026/2027). The partnership between the Amadora Municipal Council and ESTC provides a significant platform for visibility and dialogue with the community.
