Nazaré Municipal Services will advance the rehabilitation works of the water distribution network in the Urbisol area, with work commencing on Friday, October 9, to address recent supply issues.

The intervention, initially scheduled for mid-2027, has been brought forward to allow for a quicker response to a network that has experienced limitations, affecting the regularity of supply in some parts of the town.
The first phase of work will take place on Avenida de Badajoz, starting at 06:00 on October 9. The aim is to optimize water supply conditions for the population, particularly in the higher areas of the town where deficiencies have been most noticeable.
On the following Monday, October 12, interventions will continue on Rua Cardina and Rua Arquiteto Cabeça Padrão, marking the start of the network's rehabilitation in that specific area.
This advancement aims to more effectively resolve the identified problems in the infrastructure, thereby improving the quality of water supply in the affected areas. During the execution of the works, temporary disruptions to water supply and traffic circulation in the intervened zones may occur.
