Over 300 people participate in solidarity walk for October Pink in Silves

Event organized by the Silves Parish Council brought together participants of all ages at Parque do Enxerim to support breast cancer prevention.

More than 300 people participated in the solidarity Walk/Run organized by the Silves Parish Council on October 25th, at Parque do Enxerim, in support of breast cancer prevention.

People of all ages gathered at Parque do Enxerim for warm-up exercises, led by teacher Ana Cardoso. After a welcome from President Marco Jóia and event instructions, participants began their route, united by the cause of breast cancer prevention.
The Silves Parish Council thanked everyone for their participation, as well as the collaboration of Associação 8300 Wild Sports and the support of the Algarve Oncology Association and the Portuguese League Against Cancer – Southern Regional Nucleus.
