Câmara Municipal de Góis

The municipality of Góis is part of the programming for the 32nd edition of the Caminhos do Cinema Português Festival, with two film screenings scheduled for November 17th and 21st, at the Casa da Cultura de Góis.

The initiative offers the local public the chance to engage with three national productions, enhancing the municipality's cultural offerings and promoting Portuguese cinema.
The first screening takes place on November 17th, at 2:30 PM, with the exhibition of "Mulheres de Abril", a documentary directed by Raquel Freire, lasting 114 minutes. The work offers a look at women and their role in history, as part of this edition's program.
On November 21st, at 9:00 PM, the Casa da Cultura de Góis hosts a session with two fiction productions: "Maria Vitória", by Mário Patrocínio, a feature film from 2025, approximately 113 minutes long, and "Éramos Só Putos", by João Nunes Monteiro, a short film from 2026, about 19 minutes long.
Góis' participation in the Caminhos do Cinema Português Festival program is an opportunity to bring the population closer to national film production, showcasing different directors, narratives, and audiovisual formats.
In its 32nd edition, the Caminhos do Cinema Português Festival maintains its commitment to promoting and valuing national cinema through a program that brings together works from different genres and creators. The extension to Góis is part of this goal to broaden access to culture and bring cinema to diverse audiences and locations.
The Municipality of Góis thus associates itself with this initiative, valuing the local cultural offer and contributing to the decentralization of film programming in the region.
