The Municipality of Góis participated in the National Conference on Rural Development “LEADER: the policy that transforms territories”, promoted by the Minha Terra Federation in Vila Verde, on October 30th. The municipality was represented by the Vice-President of the Municipal Chamber, Nuno Bandeira, who joined the ADIBER delegation.
By signing the declaration, Góis reaffirms its commitment to defending territorialized public policies that respond to the specificities of Beira Serra and the aspirations of its population, supporting associative and business networks.
The event also approved the “Vila Verde Manifesto for the Future of Rural Territories”, which calls for rural development to be a strategic priority in the next European Union Financial Multiannual Framework (2028-2034), demanding stable financial resources and simpler administrative procedures.
