This initiative, approved in a Municipal Council meeting on October 22, 2026, aims to support students with proven economic difficulties, ensuring that their academic path is not compromised by financial reasons.
The educational policy measure, regulated by the Municipal Regulation for the Award of Scholarships to Higher Education Students in force since October 2024, is intended for students of public higher education, under 30 years of age, pursuing bachelor's or master's degrees, and who belong to family units with proven economic insufficiency.
The objective is to mitigate economic and social inequalities, offering students the opportunity to continue their studies. Applications must be submitted exclusively by completing the electronic form available on the Figueira da Foz Online Services.
