Environmental Health Technicians from the ULS Barcelos/Esposende are present today, September 24th, on Avenida da Liberdade in Barcelos. The initiative, organized by the Technical Council of Higher Technicians in Diagnostics and Therapeutics (TSDT), is part of the commemorations for World Environmental Health Day, celebrated on September 26th.
Throughout the day, crucial topics such as water quality, food safety, Legionella, building health, and the prevention of vector-borne diseases, including mosquitoes and ticks, will be addressed.
This event aims to bring professionals closer to the public, allowing citizens to interact directly with technicians, obtain information on daily care, and learn about the vital work these professionals carry out in public health prevention and protection.
