The beginning of October marks the most intense phase of the Gondomar Municipality Festivities, offering a program rich in music and gastronomy. From October 2nd to 11th, the municipality will host five major concerts near the Urban Park, and the XXVI Tasquinhas Fair, taking place at the S. Cosme Municipal Market. The event aims to celebrate with music, flavors, and conviviality.
The musical program kicks off on Friday, October 2nd, with Matias Damásio at 10:00 PM. The following day, October 3rd, Rouxinol Faduncho takes the stage, also at 10:00 PM, followed by a fireworks display at 11:45 PM. Sunday, October 4th, features a performance by José Malhoa, again at 10:00 PM, concluding the first weekend of festivities.
Music returns on the following Friday, October 9th, with Nuno Ribeiro at 10:00 PM, and culminates on Saturday, October 10th, with a performance by Karetus, also at 10:00 PM. These five concerts offer distinct musical proposals near the Gondomar Urban Park.
In parallel, the XXVI Tasquinhas Fair, promoted by the Federation of Collectivities of the Municipality of Gondomar and the Municipality of Gondomar, highlights local gastronomy. The initiative takes place over two weekends at the S. Cosme Municipal Market.
The first period of the Tasquinhas Fair runs from October 2nd to 5th, opening on Friday, the 2nd, from 7:30 PM to 2:00 AM. On Saturday and Sunday, hours are from 11:00 AM to 2:00 AM, and on Monday, October 5th, from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM. The second weekend takes place from October 9th to 11th, with similar hours, closing on Sunday at 11:00 PM.
The tasquinhas are presented as a space for meeting and conviviality, where the popular component of the festivities merges with local flavors and traditions. The proximity between the concert venues and the tasquinhas allows for an integrated experience, inviting visitors to enjoy the city's music and gastronomy.
