The event, organized by the municipal CLDS 5G team in collaboration with the Adult Mental Health team of ULSTMAD, will be held at Largo General Silveira from 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM. It aims to reinforce the importance of mental health among the elderly, combat stigma, and encourage active participation from the Chaves community.
The cultural and artistic program includes a street theater performance by the Universidade Sénior das Terras de Aguiar at 2:30 PM, followed by a dance session facilitated by Associação Flor do Tâmega at 3:30 PM. At 4:00 PM, the Universidade Sénior do Rotary Club de Chaves will present a musical performance.
The session will conclude with a debate and reflection space, led by a technician from the ULSTMAD Mental Health team, dedicated to sharing experiences and raising awareness about psychological well-being.
This activity underscores the Chaves municipality's commitment to promoting active and healthy aging, aiming to build a more informed and inclusive community.
The project is supported by the Pessoas 2030 program, through the European Social Fund Plus, under the PORTUGAL 2030 Program, funded by the European Union.
