The Palco das Artes, a cultural venue inaugurated in April 2024 in Vila Nova de Cerveira, has been selected to host the XXIX "O Minhoto" Sports Trophies Gala, scheduled for November 23rd.
This venue, one of the Municipality of Vila Nova de Cerveira's significant investments, costing nearly four million euros, highlights the municipality's capacity for regional events. The Palco das Artes was designed to blend art, natural beauty, and local identity, offering an excellent cultural space with views of the Minho River.
With a capacity for over 400 people and accessible spaces for individuals with reduced mobility, the venue also benefits from ample nearby parking, facilitating attendee access.
The ceremony aims to celebrate the merit, dedication, and contributions of all those involved in the region's sports. Approximately 30 trophies will be awarded, selected by a jury of over one hundred members through a three-phase evaluation process designed to comprehensively recognize sports merit.
Promoted by the Associação “A Nossa Terra”, the "O Minhoto" Sports Trophies annually honor athletes, clubs, managers, and coaches from the districts of Braga and Viana do Castelo. The initiative, involving around 50,000 people connected to sports, is jointly organized with the Municipality of Vila Nova de Cerveira.
