The Sá de Miranda Municipal Theater in Viana do Castelo will host the 10th edition of the Theater Festival, from November 13 to 21, jointly organized by Teatro do Noroeste and the Municipal Council.

Between November 13 and 21, the Sá de Miranda Municipal Theater will host the 10th edition of the Viana do Castelo Theater Festival. The event is a joint organization of Teatro do Noroeste - Centro Dramático de Viana and the Viana do Castelo Municipal Council.
The Vice-President and Councilor for Culture, Manuel Vitorino, highlighted the festival as an event "with established credentials", supported by the Municipality through the Cultural Development Program Contract with Teatro do Noroeste, with an investment of approximately 37,800 euros. Vitorino also considered that the event reinforces the Sá de Miranda Municipal Theater as "an important hub for contemporary art".
The Festival Director, Ricardo Simões, announced that this tenth edition will feature "9 days, 10 different shows, in 12 performances". In previous editions, around 100 shows from national and Galician companies were promoted, with an average of 2,000 spectators per edition.
A new feature of this edition is the inclusion of an actor with a disability on stage, Paulo Azevedo, in the play “O tamanho das coisas”, by Terra Amarela - Criação Artística Inclusiva.
