The establishment of the Minho Estuary Eurocity, linking Caminha, O Rosal, and A Guarda, has progressed with the presentation of the Euro_Foz project, co-funded by the INTERREG VI-A Spain-Portugal program.

The meeting was attended by representatives from the three municipalities, marking another stage in the consolidation of this future eurocity. The president of the Caminha Municipal Council emphasized the importance of the road link between the two banks of the Minho River. According to the official, this connection is crucial for promoting the social, cultural, and economic development of the shared territory, bringing people closer, creating opportunities, and strengthening cooperation between communities with common identity and future.
This presentation officially launches an ambitious project that aims to leverage the geographical, historical, and cultural proximity of the Minho Estuary.
