The Moita Municipal Council marked World Heart Day on September 29th with a series of initiatives focused on promoting healthy lifestyle habits and prevention.

In the morning, various screenings were conducted, including measurements of Blood Pressure and Body Mass Index. Activities continued with the “Heartbeat Pace” walk and the “Mega Gymnastics Class”, both held at the Moita Municipal Park.
Councillor Anabela Rosa closely followed the initiatives, which saw significant participation. Dozens of people accepted the challenge to care for their hearts through prevention and physical activity.
The events were supported by Dr. Filipe Carvalho and the Occupational Health, Hygiene, and Work Safety Service Team of the Moita Municipal Council.
