The Fórum Cultural José Manuel Figueiredo, in Baixa da Banheira, hosted the musical comedy show “Pénis, Uma Espécie de Musical” on September 26, which addressed toxic masculinity.

For 90 minutes, actors Rui Santos, Ricardo Castro, and Dagu guided the audience on a journey through the world of men, deconstructing taboos and secrets inherent to toxic masculinity. The play, written by Luís Filipe Borges, is an irreverent musical comedy that aims to make people laugh and question preconceived notions about what it means to be a man.
The story follows two desperate brothers who hire a spiritual coach to explore toxic masculinity, culminating in a "kind of musical" as a remedy for depression. This show, which has been on tour for two years, promises to continue eliciting laughter across Portugal.
