SIMARSUL signed on October 13th the contract for the construction of the Lançada Drainage and Pumping System, in the parish of Sarilhos Grandes, municipality of Montijo. The investment amounts to approximately €472,000 and aims to improve the collection and conveyance of wastewater for treatment at the Afonsoeiro WWTP.
The project, awarded to Obragoito II-Construções e Obras Públicas, Lda., will have an execution period of 330 days. The objective is to promote sustainable management of the urban water cycle, protecting water resources, ecosystems, and public health.
Through this intervention, SIMARSUL reaffirms its commitment to the environmental valorization of the territory and the reliability of essential public service, in coordination with municipal partners, for the benefit of the populations of the Setúbal Peninsula.
