The event, held yesterday morning, involved approximately 500 students from preschool to the 3rd cycle, with 310 participating in the running category. The event was characterized by enthusiasm, energy, and a spirit of camaraderie and achievement.
Present at the awards ceremony were the Mayor, Clarisse Campos, the President of the Junta de Freguesia of Santiago, Duarte Dimas, and the President of the Agrupamento de Escolas de Alcácer do Sal (AEAS), Nelson Latas.
The race was organized by AEAS with support from the Municipal Council of Alcácer do Sal, the Juntas de Freguesia of Santa Maria do Castelo and Santiago, the GNR, and the Mixed Firefighters of Alcácer do Sal.
The qualified students will now represent the Agrupamento de Escolas de Alcácer do Sal at the District Cross-Country event, which will take place in Reguengos de Monsaraz on November 19th.
