The Recinto de Mercados e Feiras in Torrão hosted, yesterday morning, a school cross-country race with the enthusiastic participation of 121 children and young people, from preschool to the 3rd cycle.

The initiative, organized by the Agrupamento de Escolas de Torrão, was attended by the president of the Junta de Freguesia of Torrão, Hélder Montinho, and supported by the Municipality of Alcácer do Sal, the GNR, the Bombeiros Mistos, and the Junta de Freguesia de Torrão.
The winning students will now represent the Agrupamento at the District Cross-Country event in Reguengos de Monsaraz, on November 19th.
