Alcácer do Sal hosts solidarity campaign to support the elderly

The Associação Coração Delta is promoting the "É Tempo de Ajudar" campaign in Alcácer do Sal on October 24th and 25th to support elderly individuals in situations of social vulnerability.

The initiative, taking place at the Intermarché in Alcácer do Sal, aims to collect personal hygiene products such as shampoo, shower gel, and toothpaste. The collection will be managed by the Universidade Sénior de Alcácer do Sal and the Agrupamento de Escuteiros 844, with the support of the Alcácer do Sal Municipal Council.
This is the 13th edition of the campaign nationwide. Since 2015, the initiative has enabled the delivery of over 26,000 hygiene kits to needy elderly individuals.
