Between October 12th and 16th, the Municipal Archive of Póvoa de Varzim will temporarily suspend its operations to allow for the cleaning and sanitization of its deposits. The reopening to the public is scheduled for Monday, October 19th.
Due to the need for pest control and sanitization work, access to documents at the Municipal Archive is provisionally restricted until October 30th. During this period, some documents may not be available for consultation, a necessary measure to ensure the safety and preservation of our documentary heritage.
For urgent consultations, it is recommended to contact the service beforehand to confirm document availability. The Municipal Council thanks users for their understanding and apologizes for any inconvenience caused.
