The event, held at the Axis Vermar Conference & Beach Hotel under the theme “Connections that Sell: Partnerships, Network, and Community””, kicked off on Friday morning. It was attended by the Vice-President of the Póvoa de Varzim Municipal Council, Octávio Correia, the founder and chairman of Airmet Portugal, Miguel Quintas, and the Director of the Operational Department of Tourism of Porto and Northern Portugal, Marco Sousa.
Today's focus is on the debate “Connections that Sell: The Power of Relationships”, with contributions from Andreia Castro (doctor, founder, and CEO of Consulta do Viajante Online), Constantino Pinto (Commercial Director of Tourist Operation at Ávoris Portugal), and Ilda Raposo (National Market Coordinator and Commercial Directorate at SATA). This will be followed by a talk by Paulo Azevedo, actor and motivational speaker, on “The difficult does not mean impossible”.
The convention also features presentations from the main sponsors of the travel agency management network. The initiative is supported by the Póvoa de Varzim Municipal Council and Turismo do Porto e Norte de Portugal, institutional partners aiming to strengthen the connection to the territory and promote the region as an excellent destination for tourism and events.
