The Casa da Cultura de Paredes hosts, from October 3rd, three new wood art exhibitions, as part of the program for the III International Biennial of Wood Arts of Paredes (BIAMP), running until November 30th.

The cultural program begins at 3:30 PM with the inauguration of the exhibitions “Puro e Bruto” by Fernando Barros, and “Respiga” by Jorge Barros. Later, at 4:30 PM, the exhibition “Serrim entre Paredes” by Henrique do Vale will be inaugurated. The exhibitions are curated by Rosalina Santos and Jorge Santos.
With distinct approaches, the three exhibitions explore wood as a material, an artistic element, and an expression of an identity deeply rooted in the territory of Paredes. The artists' proposals align with the BIAMP's goal of valuing wood as a raw material, an element of creation, memory, and heritage.
These exhibitions are part of a broader program for the III BIAMP, which includes theater, music, guided tours, talks, and other initiatives focused on art and wood as a cultural pillar.
The three exhibitions will be on display at the Casa da Cultura de Paredes until November 30th.
