The community initiative, focused on valuing techniques such as knitting and crochet, is open to the general public, regardless of prior experience. The project is based on continuous knowledge sharing, welcoming both beginners and experienced practitioners.
To support new participants, the municipality provides a "Welcome Kit," which includes a ball of yarn and a knitting or crochet needle. The sessions are decentralized to cover different areas of the municipality.
Activities will commence on the following dates and locations: in Góis, at the António Francisco Barata Municipal Library, on Thursdays, from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM; in Alvares, at the Comissão de Melhoramentos das Cortes, on Tuesdays, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, starting October 6; and in Vila Nova do Ceira, at the Associação dos Amigos da Várzea Pequena, on Mondays, from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM, starting October 12.
