The Casa Comum of the University of Porto hosts, between November 3rd and 7th, a film cycle as part of the Queer Porto – International Queer Film Festival, focusing on the relationship between literary creation and queer experiences.

This year's program, integrated into the Queer Focus section, will feature four recent documentaries about writers and poets, exploring different literary and intellectual journeys over four days.
The cycle begins on November 3rd at 6:00 PM with Cinq regards by Karim Debbagh, about the legacy of American writer Paul Bowles. The following day, November 4th, Mary Oliver: Saved by the Beauty of the World by Sasha Waters, dedicated to American poet Mary Oliver, will be screened.
On November 5th, Jessica Dunn Rovinelli presents Life Story, based on the texts of philosopher McKenzie Wark, followed by a conversation on 'How to write queer lives'. The program concludes on November 7th with Un Hombre Libre by Laura Hojman, a portrait of Spanish writer Agustín Gómez Arcos.
All sessions take place at the Casa Comum with free admission. Queer Porto, in its 12th edition, distributes its program between November 3rd and 7th across Batalha Centro de Cinema, Casa Comum da U.Porto, Passos Manuel, and Cinema Trindade.
