The IPDJ and FC Porto have launched the «Dragão Match Crew» project, aiming to encourage youth volunteering in the organization of sports events at the Estádio do Dragão.

The Portuguese Institute for Sport and Youth, I.P. (IPDJ), in partnership with Futebol Clube do Porto, has launched the «Dragão Match Crew» project. This initiative aims to encourage youth volunteering through active participation in the organization and behind-the-scenes of major professional sports events.
The project is aimed at young people aged between 18 and 30 years old and offers the opportunity to experience the management of national and international matches at the Estádio do Dragão. Volunteers will assist in welcoming and guiding fans, promoting organized and safe circulation.
Applications are open and must be submitted through the IPDJ Youth Programs Platform. The analysis, selection, and training process is managed in collaboration between the IPDJ and FC Porto.
Selected participants will be entitled to official volunteer equipment, a credential, meals (lunch box) on collaboration days, personal accident and civil liability insurance, and a participation certificate.
This partnership reinforces the IPDJ's commitment to promoting volunteering as a tool for active citizenship and bringing the community closer to associativism and ethics in sport.
