The regional initiative saw the participation of 40 teams from 13 municipalities. Throughout the day, 92 games were played, divided into group stages, knockouts, and the Friendship League, fostering an environment of healthy competition and community integration.
This stage in Gaia is part of the official 2026 circuit calendar, which comprises nine annual events. Following its stop in Gaia, the competition will proceed to São João da Madeira and conclude in Gondomar.
By hosting this event, the Municipality of Gaia reinforces its commitment to policies promoting active aging, encouraging social participation among seniors and the adoption of healthy lifestyle habits throughout its territory.
