Between October 15 and 17, the Alto Alentejo region will once again be the setting for one of the most significant national off-road competitions. The bp Ultimate Baja Portalegre 500, organized by the Automóvel Club de Portugal, celebrates its 40th anniversary this year, marking four decades of history and competition.
Sousel is once again integrated into the race route. On October 17, throughout the day, Campo das Eiras will be transformed into a Spectacle Zone (ZE). This prime location will allow the public to closely watch the passage of competitors and teams.
This year's edition holds special significance in the off-road calendar, as it once again counts towards the FIA World Cup for Cross-Country Bajas. The event will bring together drivers and teams from various nationalities, with thousands of spectators expected along the course.
