The Municipality of Sousel marked All Saints' Day, on November 1st, by distributing "santinhos" to children and young people from the municipality's educational institutions.

The initiative, promoted by CLDS 5G in partnership with the Municipality of Sousel, was attended by the vice-president, Sílvia Eliseu, who visited schools to deliver these tokens, bringing moments of joy to the educational community.
More than just a simple gift, the aim is to preserve and pass on to new generations a popular Portuguese tradition: Pão por Deus, known in the region as "Pedir os Santinhos". This tradition is seen as part of the local identity and a link between the younger generation and the historical customs of the communities.
By continuing this initiative, the Municipality of Sousel reinforces its commitment to valuing local traditions and promoting intergenerational bonds, keeping the cultural roots of the municipality alive.
