The municipality of Nisa joined the Alentejo Walking Festival 2026 with a walk through the south of the municipality, in the Parish of Alpalhão, under the motto “From Alpalhão to Anta dos Saragonheiros, via the Camino de Santiago”.

Around 40 participants accepted the challenge to cover this route, discovering the landscape and heritage of Alpalhão, on a path that combines nature, history, and spirituality through the Camino de Santiago.
The Vice-President of the Nisa Municipal Council, Dr. José Leandro Semedo, welcomed the participants, reinforcing the importance of these initiatives in promoting and valuing the territory and its natural, cultural, and heritage resources.
After the Portas de Ródão and Conhal do Arneiro, it was Alpalhão's turn to showcase its paths and heritage, during a weekend that invites you to discover Nisa… step by step.
