The Municipality of Nisa is participating in the 2026 edition of the festival with two hiking routes planned for late October and early November. These initiatives aim to promote contact with the municipality's nature and heritage.
The first route, scheduled for October 31st at 09:30, is titled “Das Portas de Ródão ao Arneiro, pelos Trilhos e Mina de Ouro do Conhal” (From Portas de Ródão to Arneiro, through the Trails and Gold Mine of Conhal). The starting point will be the crossroads of the EN18 with the access road to Portas de Ródão, in Nisa.
The following day, November 1st, also at 09:30, the route “De Alpalhão à Anta dos Saragonheiros, pelo Caminho de Santiago” (From Alpalhão to the Anta dos Saragonheiros, along the Way of St. James) will take place. This will begin in Alpalhão, at Largo de S. Tiago, in Nisa-2.
These two days of walking offer an opportunity to explore the rich natural and cultural heritage of the municipality of Nisa. More information and registration are available on the event's official website.
