This initiative, focused on community service and the promotion of maternal and child health, aims to provide newborns with closeness, warmth, and security next to their parents' bodies. Close contact after nine months of gestation is considered fundamental to make the transition to the outside world more welcoming and to foster family bonding from the very first moments.
The project is supported by the Rotary Foundation and District 1960 of Rotary International. The donation represents a concrete response to the community's needs, materializing Rotary solidarity.
The ULS Alto Alentejo expressed its deep gratitude for the donation, which will surely be part of the most significant moments and memories for future parents and babies.
