The event, promoted by the Alto Alentejo Supraconcelhia Platform, the Intermunicipal Community of Alto Alentejo (CIMAA), and the Municipality of Crato, brought together municipalities, health institutions, social entities, educational establishments, and various partners under the motto "Communities that Care". It featured 19 stands and a diverse program of presentations and awareness activities open to the public.
The Mental Health Department of ULS Alto Alentejo presented its projects, teams, and care responses in its own space. The stand included materials produced by users, informational resources, and interactive initiatives, aiming to promote dialogue on mental health, reduce stigma, and value community participation.
The team's participation allowed for the dissemination of the daily work of the professionals and reinforced the proximity between services and citizens. This initiative aligns with ULS Alto Alentejo's institutional commitment to promoting mental health, humanizing care, and strengthening proximity networks for more informed, inclusive, and resilient communities.
