The Intermunicipal Services for Water and Waste of Loures and Odivelas (SIMAR) received, on October 14, in Guimarães, the Exemplary Water Quality Seal for Human Consumption 2026. The distinction was awarded by the Regulatory Entity for Water and Waste Services (ERSAR).
The award ceremony took place at the Vila Flor Cultural Center in Guimarães, where the President of SIMAR's Board of Directors, Edgar Valles, received the accolade. This recognition distinguishes management entities that ensure high standards of quality, control, and monitoring of water intended for human consumption.
With this award, SIMAR once again joins the group of distinguished entities at a national level, reaffirming its commitment to the quality and safety of the water distributed to the populations of Loures and Odivelas.
The entity considers this seal to represent not only institutional recognition but also the result of daily work, technical rigor, and the dedication of SIMAR professionals in providing an essential public service. The distinction values the teams' work and reinforces consumers' trust in the quality of the water that reaches their taps daily.
