The Faculty of Psychology at the University of Lisbon congratulates Professors Carla Alexandra Mesquita Crespo Paranhos de Santana and Maria João Alvarez Martins on the successful completion of their aggregation examinations. The assessments took place on March 18 and September 19, respectively.
Professor Carla Crespo's examination focused on the specialization area of Clinical and Health Psychology, with the work titled “Theorizing Family Rituals: A Family Systems Model”. The jury was chaired by Professor Mário Boto Ferreira and included renowned academics such as Doctor Ana Berástegui Pedro-Viejo (Comillas Pontifical University), Doctor Ana Paula Pais Rodrigues da Fonseca Relvas (University of Coimbra), Doctor Mário Miguel Osório Gonçalves (University of Minho), Doctor Maria Luísa Torres Queiroz de Barros, and Doctor Maria José Chambel Soares, both from the University of Lisbon.
In turn, Professor Maria João Alvarez Martins's examinations centered on the area of Educational Psychology, presenting the study “A Variedade e Características dos Relacionamentos Sexuais Casuais e o Uso do Preservativo nos Guiões Sexuais destes Encontros”. The jury for this session was also chaired by Professor Mário Boto Ferreira and included Doctor Ana Berástegui Pedro-Viejo, Doctor Joaquim Armando Gomes Alves Ferreira (University of Coimbra), Doctor Pedro Jorge da Silva Coelho Nobre (University of Porto), Doctor Maria Teresa Pires de Medeiros (University of the Azores), Doctor Maria Margarida Nunes Gaspar de Matos (University of Lisbon), and Doctor Ana Margarida Vieira da Veiga Simão (University of Lisbon).
The aggregation represents a significant milestone in the academic careers of both professors, recognizing their scientific work and contribution to the advancement of Psychology in their respective specializations.
