The National Road Safety Authority (ANSR) was present at the Lisbon City Hall for the presentation of the global road safety campaign #MakeASafetyStatement, promoted by the United Nations and JCDecaux.

The campaign, already implemented in over 65 countries, now arrives in Portugal with the message that individual choices can contribute to safer mobility. Portuguese international Rúben Dias is the ambassador for this initiative.
The aim of this awareness campaign is to complement existing road safety policies and measures, reinforcing essential behaviors such as respecting speed limits, using seatbelts and helmets, driving without alcohol, and prohibiting mobile phone use while driving.
Present at the event were Jean Todt, Special Envoy of the UN Secretary-General for Road Safety; Carlos Moedas, President of the Lisbon City Hall; Jean-Charles Decaux, Chairman and Co-Chief Executive Officer of JCDecaux; and Diogo Moura, Councillor of the Lisbon City Hall. Representatives from ANSR, ACP, APCAP, Ascendi, GNR, IP, PRP, and PSP were also in attendance.
