The initiative, organized by the Spanish Legion's Sappers Platoon, included 30 military personnel from various nationalities, including Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, and Spain. The event fostered a multinational environment conducive to sharing experiences and enhancing combat capabilities against improvised explosives.
The program combined theoretical sessions with intensive practical activities, allowing participants to apply and consolidate the knowledge gained. The training cycle culminated on October 1st with a final exercise and a demonstration of equipment, enabling the practical application of addressed procedures and showcasing different allied force capabilities.
The participation of the 5th National Detached Force, comprising over 170 Portuguese Army soldiers, in this workshop was instrumental in enhancing the technical proficiency of the Portuguese military and reinforcing interoperability among allied forces.
