The Commission for Citizenship and Gender Equality (CIG) has received the 2026 National Psychology Award. The distinction was given for its continuous work in defending human rights, promoting equality, combating domestic and gender-based violence, and providing technical and strategic support for public policies in Portugal.
Since 2013, the Order of Portuguese Psychologists has promoted this award to recognize and distinguish relevant actions in the field of psychology.
