This agreement defines the management and funding model for the new unit, essential for ensuring a faster and more effective operational response in the parishes of Arranhó and S. Tiago dos Velhos.
The Municipality will be responsible for the execution of the work, financing, projects, and acquisition of furniture and equipment, subsequently ceding the space to the Association under a loan agreement. The Municipal Council will increase annual support for operating expenses, ensure accident and work insurance for firefighters, and cover 50% of the costs for the second Permanent Intervention Team (EIP).
In return, the firefighting corps will guarantee the allocation of qualified human resources, vehicles — such as ambulances and fire engines — and the necessary training for the operation of this new section.
Through this partnership, the municipality reinforces its commitment to the safety and well-being of the community.
