The Bombeiros Voluntários Avenue in Nazaré will be the subject of a series of interventions until November, aiming to improve circulation, safety, and the functioning of existing infrastructure on this important road and pedestrian zone of the municipality.
The information was provided by the President of the Nazaré Municipal Council, Serafim António, during the Municipal Assembly meeting.
The Nazaré Municipal Services are carrying out rehabilitation work on the water distribution network, an intervention that runs until October 2nd, during nighttime hours, between 7:00 PM and 7:00 AM, to minimize impacts on daily activities.
In parallel, improvements to the pedestrian zone and drainage of rainwater are planned for the section between the Nazarena roundabout and the Avenida do Município.
This set of interventions aims to enhance pedestrian safety and circulation, strengthen the quality and reliability of the water supply network, and improve rainwater runoff, addressing identified needs in the area.
According to the planned schedule, the goal is to complete all works by the end of November, returning this important axis to its use with better conditions for residents, businesses, and all who use the Bombeiros Voluntários Avenue daily.
