The interventions, scheduled for execution between 2027 and 2029, will cover over 208 kilometers of roads in practically all parishes of the municipality.
The initiative aims to address the conservation needs of road infrastructure, improving circulation conditions, safety, and user comfort, as well as preserving the municipal road heritage.
Preventive intervention will aim to avoid the worsening of existing pathologies in pavements and other infrastructure, reduce future reconstruction costs, and minimize risks to road and pedestrian safety.
This investment is part of a continuous intervention strategy for the municipality's road network, complementing other larger-scale projects, such as the construction of a new roundabout on the EN242, near the Barosa Industrial Zone.
